Tattoo Noob? Start here!

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

What to prepare BEFORE your appointment:

Get some ideas together by thinking of things you like and making a list. Go on google and start searching, a great tool for finding inspiration is Pinterest, but I like to custom design my own tattoos, and not use one that many others probably already have! I’m here to help you make a custom and unique piece!

Maybe you want to start small, and that’s okay! Maybe you want to go big.. and that’s okay too! The key thing here is mind over matter. You mostly need to calm yourself, you CAN do this.

Start with something that can turn into more, if you want to start small to test if you even like it. You can ask me what an easy location would be.

Figure out WHERE you would like the tattoo located. I will help with the rest of the designing!

Click “Book Now” or message me to get started!

Pay a deposit to book your appointment, so that the design can be started.

View my Frequently Asked Questions page for everything else you should know.

What to bring with you on your appointment:

You will need your ID (Or other legal form of identification) on your first visit to the shop.

You can bring a drink as long as it is resealable. Please no food near the stations or while you’re being tattooed.

Maybe a phone charger in case your phone gets low! (People often forget this)

What to expect on your visit:

Tattoos TAKE A WHILE, so please be prepared to be here for the day! (Depending on the work you’re getting) It usually takes an hour or more to finish preparations once the client arrives.

Make sure you either eat before you come, or bring a few snacks and maybe some drinks to keep hydrated.

You are welcome to bring a friend for support, but try to keep it minimal. It's a lot easier to focus when you don't have a bunch of people staring at you waiting to see how you react to getting tattooed.

Tattoos do HURT! Though it's easier when you are calm and focused. Believe me I know how tattoos feel, I have a ton of them. But if you want me to be able to do my job more efficiently and in a timely manner, just prepare yourself! A lot of getting tattooed is mind over matter. So try to remember that while getting worked on.

You will owe a final balance the day of your appointment, and we accept cash payments ONLY please. The total cost is the amount of hours it takes to do the tattoo at your hourly rate, minus any deposit, prepay, or certificate.

Your tattoo will be guaranteed with free touch-ups by me.

It takes about 2 weeks for the tattoo to heal and to continue working on the same area. It MUST be healed before continuing!
